PetMemorium provides the services described in this Privacy Policy. If you have questions about this Policy or how your information is handled, contact us at support@petmemorium.com.

Depending on how you use PetMemorium, we may collect and store:

• Account and authentication information, such as your email address, authentication identity, session, and security state.
• Pet profile information, such as a pet's name, species, breed, gender, owner name, and applicable profile or memorial information.
• Content you provide, including Chat messages, Recall or memory content, Interaction inputs, Little Place content, Moments, and uploaded Little Place photos.
• Generated content, including AI pet responses, applicable AI-derived Recall, Little Days, and Interaction responses.
• Visitor Kind Words, including a contributor display name, message, and related submission or moderation information.
• Functional and operational information, such as activity timestamps, browser-reported timezone, AI usage metadata, upload and security state, operational logs, and limited abuse-prevention evidence.

PetMemorium uses Supabase for authentication and session handling. You may sign in with Google or an email magic link. Google sign-in is optional, and PetMemorium does not currently use it to access unrelated content in your Google account.

Necessary cookies and browser storage support authentication, sessions, and OAuth security. Functional browser storage may also keep an unfinished onboarding draft or temporary Kind Words invitation state. PetMemorium currently has no browser analytics, advertising, remarketing, or cross-site behavioral tracking integration.

PetMemorium uses Google Gemini for applicable Chat, Recall processing, Interaction, and Little Days features. Depending on the feature, text sent for processing may include text you enter, relevant pet profile context, confirmed memories, bounded recent conversation context, interaction context, or deterministic Little Days facts.

Current AI processing is text-only. Little Place photos, Little Place owner or visitor content, and your account email are not currently sent to Gemini as prompt context. AI-generated content may be stored and shown as part of the feature that created it. Some Little Days may use confirmed pet-memory context, while others may use non-personalized pet-behavior facts.

A Little Place may remain PRIVATE, available through authenticated owner surfaces, or the owner may make it SHARED through a stable link. People can open a SHARED link without logging in and may forward it to others. SHARED pages are intended not to be indexed by search engines, but PetMemorium cannot guarantee that recipients, previews, or third-party caches immediately erase material they previously accessed.

Choose what you share carefully and avoid including information you do not want link recipients to access.

Little Place photos are stored using private Cloudflare storage and made available through authorized upload and display mechanisms. Cloudflare may process applicable images for format conversion. Related media information is stored with PetMemorium application records. Little Place images are not currently sent to Gemini.

Visitors may submit a display name and message to a SHARED Little Place. PetMemorium also processes submission and moderation information. For rate limiting and abuse prevention, request or network information may be processed transiently. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the Kind Words admission records, though derived security evidence may be retained for abuse prevention.

A visitor may contact support@petmemorium.com to request deletion of Kind Words they submitted. Support may ask for enough information to identify the exact contribution and request without material ambiguity.

We use information to provide and personalize PetMemorium, authenticate users, operate local-time features and Little Days scheduling, store and display requested content, protect accounts, authorize uploads, prevent abuse, rate-limit visitor submissions, communicate through Support, and troubleshoot and improve service reliability.

We use service providers that help us operate PetMemorium:

• Supabase — authentication and account sessions.
• Google — optional Google sign-in, Gemini-powered AI features, web fonts, and Support email services.
• Vercel — hosting and application infrastructure.
• Neon — database hosting.
• Cloudflare — private image storage and image processing.
• Spaceship — Support email forwarding.

These services may process information in locations where they operate, subject to applicable arrangements. We do not claim that all information stays in one country.

When you email support@petmemorium.com, we process your email address and any information you voluntarily include so we can respond to your request and provide support. Our email service providers may process those communications on our behalf.

Account and content information is generally retained while needed to provide PetMemorium and according to the lifecycle of the relevant account, pet, or feature. Memorial content does not have one universal automatic age-based expiry. Limited operational or security records may follow separate retention needs.

Authenticated users can request permanent account deletion through PetMemorium's account deletion workflow. PetMemorium deletes account data in accordance with that process. Some associated storage cleanup may complete asynchronously, and limited records may be retained where necessary for security, legal, or operational purposes. Provider backups or logs may follow different lifecycles rather than disappearing immediately when an application record is deleted.

Owners can correct a pet's name, breed, gender, and owner name through the available profile controls. Species correction is Support-assisted. Data-access requests are also Support-assisted, and Support may ask you to verify control of the relevant account. PetMemorium does not currently offer an automated Download My Data feature.

PetMemorium is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to PetMemorium, please contact us at support@petmemorium.com.

You can choose whether a Little Place remains PRIVATE or becomes SHARED, use available profile-correction and deletion controls, and contact Support about privacy, access, correction, deletion, or Visitor Kind Words requests.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction, and a complaint to a relevant authority where applicable. To make a request, contact support@petmemorium.com. We may need to verify the account or information connected with the request.

We may update this Privacy Policy as PetMemorium changes. We will update the effective or last-updated date and provide other notice when required for material changes.
